Description
An artisanal gin inspired by Frida’s journeys, flavors and memories. It combines the classic character of European juniper with a corn base and twelve Mexican botanicals from the states that marked her story. Citrusy, herbal and spiced — a sophisticated expression of Mexico: familiar in essence, extraordinary in every nuance.

Tasting notes
Clear, generous and perfumed. It begins its development in juniper and juniper berries for a defined entry over layered citrus bases — bitter orange peel and Colima lime; it advances into coriander seed and orange blossom, supported by an elegant woody note of lemon verbena. It then enters an earthy persistence defined by angelica and orris roots, reaching a peak of nutmeg and allspice that delivers a light, ephemeral spiciness, to exit with a surprising, soft freshness of wild mint.
Guardians of the bottle
The Milagrito — Oaxaca’s burning heart — hangs from the bottle’s neck and is removable: wear it as a necklace or bracelet, or keep it as a collectible. Fulang Chang, Frida’s beloved spider monkey, watches over the cap like a coat of arms. And the Crown of Flowers that, turned around, becomes a wounded heart… still full of color.
Why 41%?
Not a whim of alchemy: at 41, Frida painted the “Self-Portrait” commissioned by her friend, Dr. Samuel Fastlicht. Every Fridu bottle keeps that number by design.
Suggestion: try it in a simple Gin & Tonic or a Martini to discover its flavors and essence.
